I have been assured by the Doctor in the Khazir camp that this patient has now been supplied with regular pain medication to help cope with the immense pain he has been experiencing.
This man sustained major damage to his humerous in an airstrike in Mosul. The shattered pieces of his bone were pinned together during surgery.
He is now living in a tent in one of the camps located 25kms east of Mosul. As he has no way to pay for pain medication, he has sold his food rations, clothes and mattress to fund medication. He is left with the tent and two blankets in the middle winter.
